Altinha was born in Brazil, on the street and on the sand. “Altinha” means “a little high” in Portuguese — that says it all: keep the ball up.
How We Play
The Circle
You form a circle. That's it. No lines, no sides.
The Goal
Keep the ball in the air. It should never touch the ground.
The Touches
Feet, thighs, chest, head, shoulders. Anything but your hands and arms.
The Count
Every unbroken run counts. You're trying to beat your own collective record.
The Unwritten Rule
You play a playable pass. An impossible ball to control is on you, not the other player.

Our Story
We're Victor and Valentin, best friends since we were kids.
A few years ago, we started playing altinha all the time. We never stopped. We even converted our whole friend group (even the ones with two left feet!).
To this day, we never leave the house without a ball. We say we'll play for five minutes, and we end up spending the whole afternoon at it.
So we played, all the time, everywhere. Strangers would often join our game. One day in Switzerland, we formed a circle with four people we'd never met. That same evening, we were all having dinner together.
That's altinha. You bring a ball, you leave with friends.
We looked for where to find other players. We looked for competitions, a level to prove, a scene. There was nothing. So we built it.
Cocorio is the ambition to spark in France the same enthusiasm altinha has in Brazil. It starts with the app: finding your circle near you. It'll end with events where the whole community comes together.
